Emily Ruth Thomas
This is an eleven year old lady that has only been playing the Native American Flute for a short time but she has reached a level of accomplishment that takes some adults years to obtain. Working under the guidance of Twohawks, learning the flute has become her passion and with the support of her parents she is well on her way to becoming a rising star in our next generation of Native American Flute players. She is developing her own style and techniques that are distinctive to her sound on the flute. Two of the songs on the "Raven's Cry" CD are solo flute performances by Emily and both songs are her creations. She and Twohawks also team up in a very nice duet, "Nevermore".
When not studying with Twohawks or hitting the school books, Emily can be found spending time with her second passion, the outdoors. Emily loves to be in natural surroundings and bathe in the sights and sounds of the Earth song.
